From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Eden Hazard bid a glorious farewell to Chelsea by netting a brace as Maurizio Sarri's side roared past Arsenal to seal Europa League success in Azerbaijan.

Unai Emery was looking to continue his love affair with this competition and end the Gunners' 25-year wait for continental success at the end of his maiden campaign in the dugout.

But Arsenal collapsed as a tepid first half made way for a memorable second period at the sparsely-filled Baku Olympic Stadium, where Chelsea manager Sarri masterminded a 4-1 win that brought his first major trophy. Re-live the action in the blog below.

GOAL! Chelsea 3-1 Arsenal (Iwobi 69')

WHAT A GOAL BY ALEX IWOBI!

From the free-kick, the ball falls to Iwobi outside the box, right side. But that doesn't put the substitute off, who strikes the ball superbly into the top corner!

Stunning strike - Arsenal have hope!

71 minutes: Chelsea 3-1 Arsenal

First change for Chelsea: Pedro comes off for Willian.

GOAL! Chelsea 4-1 Arsenal (Hazard 72')

Eden Hazard has his second goal of the game!

A lovely one-two between the Belgian and Giroud, and Hazard has the simple task to stroke the ball home from close range after a brilliant find from Giroud.

All that hope for Arsenal has just evaporated.

75 minutes: Chelsea 4-1 Arsenal

It's Hazard with a strike in the box, but Cech saves down low to his left...

Straight down the other end, Aubameyang is wasteful from a decent position in the box.

Caught your breath yet?

Mateo Kovacic comes off for Ross Barkley in the Chelsea midfield.

77 minutes: Chelsea 4-1 Arsenal

Third and final sub (in normal time) for Arsenal: Joe Willock comes on for Mesut Ozil.

The last roll of the dice from Unai Emery.

79 minutes: Chelsea 4-1 Arsenal

Cech makes another good save, this time down low to the right from Willian.

This could get embarrassing for Arsenal if they're not careful...

81 minutes: Chelsea 4-1 Arsenal

Azpilicueta goes close this time, a whisker wide when played through in the area at a tight angle...

This is tough for Arsenal to take now... Chelsea however, have been superb in this second half.

83 minutes: Chelsea 4-1 Arsenal

Lacazette has to score here!

Played in from a cross which beats the Chelsea backline, his shot is too close to Kepa who pulls off a good save, and Aubameyang can't force in the rebound...

84 minutes: Chelsea 4-1 Arsenal

This time, Joe Willock has to score surely!

Played in on goal by Lacazette, the teenager can't steer it home, with the ball heading inches wide of the far post!

Sums up the game in many ways - both sides have had their chances, but Chelsea have been clinical. Arsenal have not.
