The home side were totally on top at the climax of the first half, but have a stark reminder still in their collective memory about the fragility of a two-goal advantage. A rather aimless affair seemd to be meandering to its conclusion with 10 minutes to play before the half-time whistle, but a double intervention from Dewsbury-Hall has put Leicester in control at the King Power against an off-colour Crystal Palace side. The same XI that started the win over Arsenal have been a pale shadow of their former selves so far today, with the visitors managing only one shot on target in the first 45 minutes. Leicester were marginally the better side, but now head down the tunnel with a significant lead to defend.
