It's not all about the action at the top though with Norwich, Watford and Brentford promoted to the top tier for 2020/21 and hoping to hold their own against the best English football has to offer and avoid the drop.

That eventually resounding victory sees City return to the top of the table, after being briefly unseated by Liverpool's win over Newcastle. There's just one point in it, and this title race is set to go right to the wire. At the other end of the table, Leeds drop to 17th on goal difference after this loss is coupled with Burnley's late win over Watford. They're still five points ahead of 18th-placed Everton, but Leeds's leaky defence and worrying attack may see them slip further before the season's end.

Jesus' late goal was a just reward for all his work throughout the game. He had two shots on target, made five key passes, completed 25 passes in Leeds' half, and won four fouls to prove a constant thorn in Leeds' side.

The full-time whistle brings the game to an end, and despite it being end-to-end throughout, City's quality made their chances count, with the Citizens adding three goals in the second half to put the game well beyond Leeds' reach. Ake's goal saw Leeds rally again, but a late double from Jesus and Fernandinho saw Leeds' fire go out, and it's another big scoreline against the league's leakiest defence.
