A first-half goal from Liam Delap was enough to earn Ipswich their first Premier League point of the season, but they had to share the spoils in a 1-1 home draw with Fulham after winger Adama Traore grabbed an equaliser.
Roared on by an enthusiastic home crowd, Delap put Ipswich ahead in the 15th minute, drifting across the box before lashing in a powerful shot that Fulham keeper Bernd Leno got his gloves to but could not keep out.
The visitors levelled 17 minutes later after Antonee Robinson whipped the ball across the box and Traore stabbed it home with a superb first-time finish to crown Fulham’s best attack of the game.
Both sides struggled to create decent goal-scoring chances in a tough, physical game, and though Omari Hutchinson went close with a stoppage-time shot, neither could find the net again as the game ended in a draw.

Smith Rowe comes close again, as he pounces in the box and sends a shot scudding wide of the left-hand post, albeit by quite a distance. Still, Fulham are clearly growing in confidence after a tricky spell in the first part of this half.

After Traore beats his man, drives to the right byline and then stands up a ball to the back post, Iwobi feeds it to Smith Rowe, who sees his shot blocked at close range. Perhaps Iwobi should've shot there.

Remarkably, Ipswich have increased their possession share from 36% during the first half to 75 since the second half started. They are looking marginally more likely to win this now, but it remains in the balance.

A curling Davis free-kick is headed to safety by Diop, but Ipswich have another corner as a result. Nothing comes of it, though. This is an encouraging spell for McKenna, who has seen his team step up a gear since the break.

Caught on the wrong side of Ogbene, Robinson bundles his opponent over and concedes a dangerous free-kick. He's also booked by the referee.

After Delap's shot strikes Ogbene and spins towards the six-yard box, Leno has to concede a corner under pressure. Then, Fulham's goalkeeper safely claims the ball from the subsequent set-piece.

After good build-up play by Morsy and Ogbene, a sharp turn by Delap opens a slither of space to shoot from 10 yards. His angled attempt slips just wide of the far post via a deflection, though. It's an Ipswich corner.
