From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. The Arsenal manager was pictured enjoying some ice-cream along with Christian Vieiri, Juan Sebastian Veron and Fabio Cannavaro last night whilst wearing an Arsenal training top.
It's not the first time the Frenchman has been spotted wearing Arsenal gear either. The man who led the Gunners to FA Cup glory last season was seen wearing tracksuit bottoms emblazoned with the club's crest whilst on Eurosport.
Wenger is in Brazil working as a pundit for French television, but is also understood to be using the opportunity to scout for possible transfer targets. Chile's Alexis Sanchez clearly made an impression with Arsenal understood to have tabled a bid for the Barcelona forward.
But it's not all been work for the Arsenal boss. He was filmed doing his best impression of Robin van Persie's diving header whilst playing beach football on Ipanema beach in Rio de Janeiro.
Numerous Arsenal players will be in action today with Per Mertesacker, Lukas Podolski and Mesut Ozil of Germany taking on a France team that includes Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud.
