Georgia earned its first-ever point at a major tournament in a 1-1 draw with the Czech Republic at Euro 2024 on Saturday.

Video reviews were in the spotlight as the Czechs had a goal for Adam Hlozek disallowed for hand ball. Georgia, the only team making its debut at Euro 2024, then took the lead with a Georges Mikautadze penalty given for hand ball by Czech defender Robin Hranec.

The Czech team got back into the game when a header rebounded off the post and Patrik Schick scored with his chest. Schick went off with a calf injury soon after.

Georgia could have won but Saba Lobjanidze shot narrowly over the bar with the last kick of the game on a counterattack.

The draw means that both teams almost certainly require a win in their last group games to qualify for the knockout stages. Turkey and Portugal are the other two teams in Group F. They play later Saturday.

Follow all the reaction from Georgia v Czech Republic below - plus build-up to Turkey v Portugal at Euro 2024:

Belgium 1-0 Romania

72 mins: Romania seem to have been buoyed on by that disallowed goal. They’re asking more questions of Belgium and are seeing more and more possession high up the pitch.

This is what they wanted. To take the match deep and hopefully nick an equaliser. Can they pull it off?

Belgium 1-0 Romania

69 mins: Save!

Dennis Man is fed into space and touches the ball into the box. He takes his time and sidefoots a shot at goal only for Koen Casteels to make a fine body stop after closing the angle to the near post!

Belgium 1-0 Romania

66 mins: Romelu Lukaku has now had three goals ruled out at Euro 2024. He’s been unlucky with a couple of them and has found himself offside by the barest of margins.

NO GOAL! Belgium 1-0 Romania

64 mins: The goal has been disallowed!

A quick check has ruled out the Belgian striker’s effort for offside. That was a ridiculously close call.

That’s the third goal Lukaku has seen ruled out at Euro 2024.

GOAL! Belgium 2-0 Romania (Lukaku, 63’)⚽️

63 mins: Kevin De Bruyne brings the ball under control and spins towards goal. He threads the needle with a fine pass in between the centre-backs.

Romelu Lukaku is the runner and laces a first time shot into the back of the net!

Belgium 1-0 Romania

62 mins: Jeremy Doku tries to come inside and use his right foot for a shot. He comes up against Radu Dragusin who strongly forces him wide which results in a shot hitting the side netting.

Mike Jones22 June 2024 21:19

Belgium 1-0 Romania

60 mins: An hour played in this one and Belgium aren’t safe yet. Romania are scrapping for an equaliser while at the same time desperately defending their own box under the threat from Romelu Lukaku.

It’s fascinating viewing and can still swing any way.

Mike Jones22 June 2024 21:18

Belgium 1-0 Romania

57 mins: Leandro Trossard has come on for Belgium replacing Dodi Lukebakio on the right side of the pitch. Kevin De Bruyne is then sent the ball over on the left and he touches the ball into the box.

Jeremy Doku sprints towards the back post as De Bruyne curls a low pass into the six-yard area.

Doku stretches for a tap-in but can’t reach the ball!

Mike Jones22 June 2024 21:14

Belgium 1-0 Romania

54 mins: Close! Doku flicks a pass on to De Bruyne making his way up the inside left channel. He cuts to the right and pings a curling shot towards the back post.

There’s just not enough whip on the shot and the ball goes wide. That would have been a scorching goal had it gone in.

Mike Jones22 June 2024 21:09

Belgium 1-0 Romania

51 mins: Doku, who was so good in the first half, isn’t allowed to come inside this time despite an enterprising run down the line. He finds enough space for a cross though but Nita flaps the ball to the other side of the box.
