Fulham vs Leicester City
The smart bet would be on a Fulham victory after their domination of the game in ever measurement apart from the most important one, the score. Leicester can not be as bad as they were in the first half and will take confidence from that to potentially drive on and steal a result, that at this point would be totally undeserved. But that is why we love football.
Fulham vs Leicester City
A match dominated by Fulham yet the London side finds itself level at half time with their visitors. Leicester came out the quicker of the two sides looking to impose themselves on the match, but the home team quickly imposed their superior quality on the Championship title holders. Marco Silva’s side controlled the match, having 59.4 percent of the ball in the first half, and this has brought about 10 efforts with half of them on target compared to Leicester’s five shots, with only three on target. This dominance was seen in Smith-Rowe’s goal as Traore played the ball to the left-hand side of the pitch and the English midfielder drove forward into the box with no defender getting close to him before he expertly bent the ball into the far corner around the keeper with a perfect right-footed effort to make it 1-0 in the 18th minute. Leicester looked hopeless as the home side pressed for a second goal but it would never come and Leicester found a reply in the 38th minute. Faes rose above the Fulham defence to head past Leno from a corner. The goal was ruled out initially as Vardy was deemed to have interfered with the keeper in an offside position, but after consultation with the VAR monitor the referee awarded the goal. Fulham then went in search for another goal but couldn’t find the net, meaning it is all level at the break.
