Arsenal travel to Southampton looking to make the FA Cup fifth round yet again, but come against a side brimming with confidence after they made the EFL Cup final this week.

The Gunners have needed to rely on late goals to earn them wins and draw in the Premier League and will not find it easy on the south coast.

Will Arsene Wenger's side progress, or can Claude Puel take a step closer to another Wembley final?

It’s a big game for…

Danny Welbeck. Arsene Wenger hinted that the former Manchester United man is likely to play against Southampton as part of his rehabilitation from another long injury lay-off. If he can get through the game and look like he’s getting back to near his best then he could be like a new signing for the Gunners for the Premier League title run in.

Remember when…

Arsenal were hammered 4-0 at St Mary’s as the Saints tore Wenger’s team apart on Boxing Day 2015. It also featured a stunning goal from Cucu Martina and two disallowed goals for Southampton.

Player to watch…

Shane Long. Long has been a constant threat to Arsenal in the past and scored the crucial goal on Wednesday night to end Liverpool’s hopes of taking the EFL Cup semi-final second leg to extra time.

Past three-meetings…

Arsenal 0 Southampton 2 (Claise, Bertrand)

30 November 2016, League Cup 5th round

Arsenal 2 (Koscielny, Cazorla) Southampton 1 (Cech o.g)

10 September 2016, Premier League

Arsenal 0 Southampton 0

2 February 2016, Premier League

Less than 10 minutes to go until we discover which of BT Sport's disastrous co-commentators this game has. Robbie Savage? Michael Owen? Steve McMannaman? Spoilt for choice...

It's Steve McMannaman! Teams are out on the pitch now. Kick off is imminent...

GOAL! Liverpool 0 Wolves 1 - Richard StearmanWell that was quick! Wolves win an early free kick wide on the right and the ball is whipped in for Stearman to leap at the back post and head it across goal into the corner of the net. That's his first goal of the season and the underdogs lead! What a start.

1 - Richard Stearman has scored his first goal in any competition since April 2014, 1013 days ago (for Wolves v Leyton Orient). Shock.

Liverpool 0 Wolves 1: It's been all Wolves so far, long way to go but are we going to see a shock here?

Liverpool 0 Wolves 1: Corner to Liverpool can they get back into things? No. In fact Costa then goes on a fantastic run on the counter attack, he carves through the Liverpool defence but then scuffs his shot when one-on-one with Karius. That could've been a second for Wolves and what a goal it would have been!

10 - Helder Costa has been directly involved in 10 goals in his last 11 games in all competitions for Wolves. Electric.

Liverpool 0 Wolves 1: Liverpool starting to see a bit more of things now, Firmino and Origi looking like they might create something, but at the moment the home side are struggling to find that final pass.

Liverpool 0 Wolves 1: After the explosive start, predictably this game has gone a little flat. Liverpool dominating possession, but not really doing much with it at the moment.
