The Dutchman, signed last week from Southampton for a reported fee of 75 million pounds ($101.7 million), rose inside the area to head home an Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain corner in the 84th minute of what had been a pulsating Merseyside derby.
Liverpool looked to have been frustrated after Gylfi Sigurdsson brought Everton level in the 67th minute after a brilliant counter-attack from Sam Allardyce's side.
The home side had taken the lead through a 35th minute penalty from James Milner after Everton defender Mason Holgate had pulled down Adam Lallana in the box.

13: The Derby fans start the Oles as the visitors enjoy a spell of possession in United's half but they can't find a way through and the Reds regain possession.

15: Tom Lawrence runs at Chris Smalling and finds Sam Winnal but the dangerous break falls apart as a heavy touch takes it to Sergio Romero in goal.

18: Marcus Rashford riffles an effort at goal from the edge of the area. He gets a good amount of power and dip on the shot but it goes wide.

19: Henrikh Mkhitaryan finds Marcus Rashford who cuts onto his right, fakes a shot and goes for power but lashes a shot over the bar. A cooler and well placed finish might have been the better option there.

27: Yannick Bolasie sends in a series of crosses from the right side and Liverpool clear for a corner. The ball is then cleared to Cuco Martina who shoots into row z from outside the box.

23: Marcus Olsson drives forward and lifts a cross to Johnny Russel who heads towards goal and Sergio Romero tips over the ball over for a corner. From the corner Alex Pearce rises well for Derby but heads over. That was a good chance for the Championship side.
