At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Tottenham will face London rivals Chelsea in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup, while holders Manchester City have been drawn against League One Burton.

Spurs overcame Arsenal in the north London derby on Wednesday, while five-time winners Chelsea defeated Bournemouth.

Pep Guardiola's City saw off Leicester in a penalty shoot-out on Tuesday, with Burton into the last four of the competition for the first time after winning at Middlesbrough.

Television presenter Piers Morgan, an Arsenal supporter, performed the semi-final draw alongside Peter Crouch wearing a Spurs shirt.

The forfeit came after Morgan lost a £1,000 charity bet to former Tottenham striker Crouch on the outcome of Wednesday's match at the Emirates.

The semi-final draw for the Carabao Cup:

Tottenham v Chelsea

Manchester City v Burton

The first legs will be played in the week commencing January 7 and the second legs in week beginning January 21.

What a finish this is. Kane drops off and collects the ball before turning and chipping the ball into Alli.

The England midfielder looks up and clips the ball past Cech with the outside of his right foot. Classy.

Arsenal are in trouble.

Nearly an instant response from Arsenal. Monreal and Aubameyang combine, before the Gabonese forward squares to Lacazette, only for the striker to clip the outside of the post with his left-footed effort.

The most blatant booking you'll see. Hazard looks to break and Bournemouth defender Simpson rugby tackles him to the ground. Yellow card.
