Frank Lampard’s reign as Everton manager began with a comfortable win as the Blues bested Brentford in the fourth round of the FA Cup at Goodison Park.

The home side started the brighter of the two teams and took the lead just after the half hour mark when substitute Yerry Mina powered home a header from Demarai Gray’s pinpoint corner.

Middlesbrough defeated Manchester United last night. Chelsea and West Ham both needed extra-time to squeeze past lower league opponents in the early kick offs.

Of the 3pm games only Southampton vs Coventry is still being played.

Crystal Palace, Everton, Huddersfield, Manchester City, Peterborough, Stoke and Norwich are all into the last-16.

Southampton 1-1 Coventry - Heading to extra-time.

Southampton and Coventry couldn’t be separated and the game heads into extra-time. Coventry defended well but Southampton have been poor.
