The full-time whistle has been blown here at Goodison Park, and the spoils are shared after what was a very dry game for 65 minutes. The first half was a poor showing from both sides as they failed to apply any proper pressure on each other. Pickford made a few good saves to deny Bowen, but the chances were nothing to shout about. Beto thought he had got his side a penalty on the stroke of half-time but after a short VAR check, it was judged that there wasn’t significant enough contact by Kilman and Mavropanos on the Portuguese man for a spot-kick to be given. The second half started, and continued in the same fashion. Up until the 67th minute, there were only a couple of half-chances to speak of, with Bowen trying an overhead kick, but kicking it against himself. Then, Bowen went on a run down the right before moving inside and playing the ball to Soucek who was there waiting in the box. He turned on a twopence and stroked the ball past Pickford, into the bottom right corner. That gave West Ham the lead, and the game had a goal that it desperately needed. West Ham tried as hard as they could to fend off Everton pressure, but in the 91st minute Gueye volleyed a cross to the middle of the six-yard box where O’Brien was waiting to nod a header home. That made it 1-1, and Everton continue their unbeaten run with that late goal. They have now gone nine games without losing in the Premier League, their longest unbeaten run since 2017! Everton created 0.92 xG throughout the game, whereas West Ham created just 0.58 xG. Thank you for joining this live text commentary, goodbye!

West Ham make a change of their own as they look to close out this lead. Soler comes on in midfield for the recently booked Paqueta, and he will look to add some calm to the midfield.
