Tottenham Hotspur begin life after Antonio Conte with a trip to face Everton this evening.
Spurs elected to move on from the Italian manager during the international break a week after Conte labelled the club’s players as lacking in “fight” and “desire” in an explosive press conference that seemed destined to end his time in north London.
Interim boss Cristian Stellini has recent touchline experience, covering for Conte during a health-related absence earlier in the season, but faces a tough test first up against an Everton side strengthened under Sean Dyche.
With eight sides appearing to be in the relegation battle, a point or more against a visiting side in transition seems feasible and could be vital.

Dyche will be the happier of the two managers at the break, but he'll know that his side need to take their chances in the second half. Stellini was a frustrated figure for much of the first half and will need to find a way to get his front three more involved, as Spurs haven't offered too much in the final third.

It's goalless at the break between Everton and Spurs. There was just one shot on target in the first 45 minutes, and it came from the hosts when Onana's snatched shot was saved by Lloris. Everton created more chances, with McNeil and Keane both sending efforts just wide, while Kane and Perisic had the only chances at the other end, but they couldn't hit the target.

Pickford goes long with a free-kick, and Iwobi gets the better of Lenglet again with a clever turn. Once more, the cross lets him down though as he drills it against Dier.

Porro squares it to Kane on the edge of the box, but he's crowded out by three Everton players. He manages to squeeze it back to Kulusevski, but he can't pick out a cross.
