Everton vs Leeds LIVE: Premier League final score and result after Richarlison goal

22 mins: Allan and Iwobi combine on the right side of the pitch for Everton and work the ball to the edge of the box. Iwobi tries to play in Calvert-Lewin but the pass is blocked and Everton win a corner.

19 mins: Off the crossbar! Leeds almost have an equaliser. First Rodrigo slides Daniel James into the box but Mason Holgate times a sliding tackle to perfection and pokes the ball away from the striker.

In their next attack Leeds knock the ball up to Rodrigo who spots Jordan Pickford off his line and drills a volley from range. He striker is well and gets the ball to dip over the goalkeeper’s head but it rattles into the crossbar and bounces away!

16 mins: Richarlison attempts to bully his way into the box from the left but runs into trouble and loses the ball to Luke Ayling. Everton have had five attempts at goal already with Leeds yet to themselves into the game.

13 mins: Everton need to make use of their aggressive start and they have done. It was a fine move and a smart finish from Seamus Coleman. Gordon attempts to thread the ball in behind Leeds’ back three but Struijk intercepts the bal before it reaches Calvert-Lewin and the visitors clear their lines.

10 mins: Lovely goal from Everton! Jonjoe Kenny swings the ball in from the left wing but it goes over everyone before being collected by Seamus Coleman. He brings it inside and gives the ball to Anthony Gordon. Gordon slides a pass into the right side of the box where Donny van de Beek makes a run to the byline, recovers the ball and squares it across to Dominic Calvert-Lewin. He’s put under pressure and loops his shot up to the right-hand post where Coleman throws himself at the ball and nods it home!

9 mins: Stuart Dallas is taken off by Marcelo Bielsa after a going down off the ball. He seems to have tweaked something and can’t continue. 18-year-old Leo Hjelde comes on to replace him.

6 mins: Alex Iwobi moves the ball down the right wing before bringing it to the edge of the box. He slots it across to Dominic Calvert-Lewin who shoots from range but has his effort blocked by Pascal Struijk.

The Toffees recover the ball quickly after Illan Meslier gets play going again. Donny van de Beek moves it nicely up the inside left channel before laying the ball off to Anthony Gordon. He shoots from outside the box but Meslier gets in behind the bouncing ball and smothers it well.

3 mins: Chance! Big chance from Everton to take an early lead after a poor clearance from Leeds gives the ball to the home side. Alex Iwobi slots it to Dominic Calvert-Lewin who slides a pass into the left side of the penalty area where Anthony Gordon has the opportunity to shoot. He rolls the ball onto his right foot just as Luke Ayling slides across and deflects the effort into the arms of Illan Meslier.

Kick off: Everton could really do with picking up three points this afternoon in order to create a bit of breathing space above the relegation zone. Leeds are in a better position but they’ll want to win for the same reason.
