Liverpool were winners back in 2020 ending a 30-year wait for league glory and Jurgen Klopp is sure to have them back challenging again at the sharp end this season too while Manchester United will be looking to be back in the title picture with Cristiano Ronaldo returning to his former club in the summer.
It's not all about the action at the top though with Norwich, Watford and Brentford promoted to the top tier for 2020/21 and hoping to hold their own against the best English football has to offer and avoid the drop.

Still, Palace are keeping hold of the ball and patiently trying to work it out from the back. Everton are breaking up the flow of the game with a few niggling fouls at the moment though.

Palace are looking to restore their lead as Mateta drives forward down the right. His switch to Zaha is blocked by Coleman, but Eze picks up the loose ball. He does pick out Zaha, who sees his shot blocked before a belated offside flag goes up.

Everton are still keeping the pressure on Palace here as they search for an equaliser. Richarlison clips a cross in from the left this time, and although Calvert-Lewin leaps high, it skims over his head.

Gray's corner is just too high for Calvert-Lewin and Guehi heads it away behind him. He only gets it as far as Doucoure, who drills a low shot towards the near post, but Butland gets down to hold it.

It's switched out to Coleman, but he can't find space for a cross, so he plays it back to Iwobi. He curls an early cross into the box, but it's straight against the first man.

Richarlison curls a great cross into the far post and it looks like Calvert-Lewin is going to be left with a close-range tap in. Guehi recovers brilliantly though and scrambles back to stop it from reaching him.

Palace are scrambling back to their own box as Alli wins it back in midfield again. He threads it through to Gordon down the left and he whips an early ball into the middle, but Guehi is there to meet it.
