Unai Emery’s men took a 3-1 advantage to Spain after their win against the La Liga side last week at the Emirates, but Valencia's early strike through Kevin Gameiro gave the hosts hope of a comeback.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang equalised after 17 minutes to restore Arsenal's two-goal aggregate advantage before Alexandre Lacazette scored their fifth of the tie, but Gameiro scored his second to make it 5-3 to Arsenal on aggregate before Aubameyang's hat-trick goal sealed it.

Valencia 1-1 Arsenal
41 minutes
Gaya is booked after falling to the ground on the edge of the Arsenal box. The referee deems it to be a dive, which replays confirm.
Chelsea 1-0 Frankfurt
41 minutes
A flowing Chelsea move involving Jorginho, Hazard and Ederson eventually finds its way to Loftus-Cheek in the Frankfurt box. The midfielder's first touch lets him down, though, and the opportunity to score a second of the game is gone.
Half time: It's half time at the Mestalla. Arsenal, thanks to Aubameyang's first-half goal, are in a great position now to progress to the final. They just have to hold their nerve for another 45 minutes.

As it stands, then, the Europa League final, like the Champions League, will be played between two Premier League teams. Both Arsenal and Chelsea are doing what's required so far. There is still a long way to go, though.
Chelsea 1-0 Frankfurt
47 minutes
Frankfurt have started the second half quickly, passing with more purpose and intensity. Kostic gets a shot off but it's blocked well by Azpilicueta.
