Mane gets in behind the Red Star defence as Robertson picks him out with a long ball. Mane crosses the ball into the centre of the box and Milner hits it first time... right into row Z.
Srnic gets into a good position in reply, he's free on the left side of the box, cuts inside and gets off a shot but it's weak and Alisson has no problem in collecting it.

Robertson sends Salah down the left with a throw in, and the Liverpool mid-fielder gets the ball into the box. Sturridge tries to get on the end of the cross but it's slightly out of his reach, Alexander-Arnold comes flying into the box and tries to shoot, hitting the volley way over the bar.

Red Star putting the pressure on Liverpool, they look confident on the ball and are happy to fire crosses into the box. Marin delivers another corner, it drops to Savic who fires his shot wide.
18 mins: Red Star 0 - 0 Liverpool
Liverpool haven't settled into this game, that's more down to Red Star's efforts than their own. Liverpool give the ball away easily but Lallana wins it back quickly, Robertson sends Lallana down the left and he brings the ball up to the Red Star byline. Lallana gets the cross in and Robertson mishits it into the path of Sturridge who hits the ball over the goal. What a chance for the visitors!

Red Star are finding it hard to counteract the pace of Mane, he brings the ball up to the box and dinks a little pass to Sturridge. Sturridge turns and shoots, winning a corner. Salah takes it and Liverpool give away a free kick in the Red Star box.
22 mins: Red Star 1 - 0 Liverpool - Pavkov
Ben Nabouhane takes a long ranged shot and forces Alisson into a diving save save to put the ball out for a corner. Marin delivers the ball into the centre of the box and Pavkov leaps higher than anyone else and heads the ball into the bottom left corner.
24 mins: Red Star 1 - 0 Liverpool
It's been a fairly even game but Red Star have been brilliant when they've attacked. Lots of work to do for Liverpool now.

Red Star win yet another corner, but Marin hits it too long. Liverpool come forward with Salah on the right, he does well to beat Degenek and give the ball to Lallana who makes his way into the box. Lallana's first touch is very poor and Red Star get the ball away.
