From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Paulo Dybala scored two superb first-half goals as Juventus took complete control of their Champions League quarter-final against Barcelona.

It took Dybala just seven minutes to open the scoring, curling home a low shot from the edge of the six-yard box.

He then doubled the Italian champion's advantage when he struck again, angling a first-time shot beyond Marc-André ter Stegen from outside the penalty area.

Barcelona pushed in search of an away goal but conceded again in the second-half, as Giorgio Chiellini climbed above Javier Mascherano at a corner to head home.

93 mins: Mandzukic is a wily old fox. With Barcelona desperate to get the ball down the other end of the pitch, he's gone down with cramp and is refusing to move off the pitch.

F/T: Juventus 3 Barcelona 0

What a win for the Italian champions! Paulo Dybala's brace put them in control before half-time, with Giorgio Chiellini making sure of the win in the second-half. Barcelona were poor and now they need a second successive miracle if they are to come from behind to progress to the next round.
