The Europa League group stage draw has been completed with Liverpool, Brighton, West Ham, who won the Europa Conference League last year, and Rangers discovering their opponents.
Liverpool are the bookies' favourites, but Brighton are next up alongside Jose Mourinho's Roma, who recently bought Romelu Lukaku to boost their chances. Atalanta, Marseille and Villarreal are also contenders.

It’s draw time. 32 teams from 21 nations - eight groups of four to be drawn.

Here is John O’Shea, fittingly attired in an emerald tie, to offer an Irish perspective on this year’s final venue.
“It’s very unique,” O’Shea describes of the Aviva Stadium. “There’ll be almost 50,000 screaming fans packed into Dublin. It’s an amazing stadium and it will be a special occasion.
O’Shea, reluctantly, tips Liverpool as “one of the favourites”, and Brighton to “surprise a few teams.”

Captain of Sevilla then was the much missed Jose Antonio Reyes, who passed away in a car crash in 2019 at the age of 35. “Jose was a leader, and sharing the same dressing room was unbelievable,” Mbia remembers of Reyes. “He was humble and he was crazy - it’s difficult to have lost him.”
