England find themselves a goal down at the break - and they only have themselves to blame.

Ivan Toney’s penalty was sandwiched either side of two Youri Tielemans goals, with both of Belgium’s strikes coming as a result of lackadaisical defensive errors from Gareth Southgate’s side.

However, beyond the moments of madness, it’s been a pretty encouraging performance from England. Jarred Bowen and Kobbie Mainoo have been among those to shine at Wembley in a wild first half.

The boys have just 45 more minutes to prove why they should be on the plane bound for Germany come the summer. Second-half to come.
