Crystal Palace v Liverpool LIVE: Result and reaction as Harvey Elliott smashes home late winner

Just the two shots on target today for Liverpool, but they’ve both gone in. It’s been a profligate performance at times in forward areas, but Elliott was precise when it counted.

Luis Diaz thinks he’s put a third effort on goal into the net, but the forward had just gone too soon, by the looks of things. The flag is up, and the decision quickly confirmed by the VAR.

The Crystal Palace defenders stand off him, and the youngster makes them pay, producing a gorgeous strike with his instep into vacant space at the near post. Remi Matthews can’t get across - is that the winner?
