Meanwhile Luton Town are making their first appearance in the Premier League, having risen from non-league in an incredible decade of progress. They followed Championship winners Burnley and second-placed Sheffield United in earning promotion to the top flight.

Caicedo stays down after the Franca opportunity. The Chelsea midfielder appears in some discomfort with a left-leg injury, receiving medical attention as the match comes to a temporary halt. The former Brighton man seems fine to continue, though.
