Burnley will be looking to secure their first win of the season when they travel to Forest after the international break, hoping to repeat their success in the EFL Cup. As for Tottenham, they host Sheffield United in their next fixture and will be confident of another victory after collecting three in a row in the Premier League.

Son scored a hat-trick as Tottenham thrashed Burnley at Turf Moor. The Clarets started the game well and opened the scoring through Foster, who got ahead of his marker to poke Koleosho’s pass across the box into the net. However, Tottenham came into the game after a slow start and turned the score in their favour. Son rushed forward on the break and played a quick one-two with Solomon before chipping Trafford to equalise. Spurs then went ahead in first-half stoppage time after a stunning goal from Romero. Maddison added a third soon after the restart with a fantastic curling effort before Son scored twice to complete his hat-trick. He netted his second after directing his shot past Trafford from close range, with Porro assisting the third. His pinpoint cross behind Burnley's defence found the 31-year-old, who took the ball into his stride and slotted his effort in. Brownhill then netted a consolation for the hosts in stoppage time.
