Meanwhile Luton Town are making their first appearance in the Premier League, having risen from non-league in an incredible decade of progress. They followed Championship winners Burnley and second-placed Sheffield United in earning promotion to the top flight.

Brentford, on the other hand, have made two changes from their narrow 1-2 loss to Arsenal. Christian Norgaard misses out through injury and Mathias Jensen replaces him in central midfield. Sergio Reguilon returns from injury and replaces Keane Lewis-Potter down the left. Bryan Mbuemo is back as well, and he is on the bench for this one.

Only the solitary change for Burnley from their draw with West Ham last weekend. Goalkeeper Arijanet Muric comes in for his first ever Premier League appearance, replacing James Trafford and ending his run of 28 consecutive league appearances this season.
