Pedro's forming a fine combination with Ferguson in Brighton's attack, registering two first-half shots and also creating two big chances. He's won all six of his duels so far, including a dribble and two aerial contests apiece, while Ferguson has won three of his four and had two shots on target, one of which was the opener of course, to compile an xG of 0.82.

The hosts lead 1-0 at the break, with Ferguson profiting from a rare Pope error to give Brighton the lead in an otherwise even game! Newcastle started on the front foot, with Isak squandering two early chances before Verbruggen intervened to prevent a Dunk own-goal. Brighton were just as dangerous going forward though, with March and Ferguson both forcing Pope into saves. He did well with those, but spilled Gilmour's long-range strike straight to Ferguson. The second half is shaping up to be a cracker, with either side more than capable of taking all three points here!
