Leicester City twice came from a goal down in a frenetic first half to eventually claim a valuable 4-2 victory at Aston Villa in a Premier League thriller on Saturday.

It looked like another bleak day for out-of-form Leicester when Ollie Watkins gave Villa an early lead from close range.

James Maddison levelled soon afterwards but Leicester’s new signing Harry Souttar then scored into his own goal while trying to defend a low cross from Watkins.

But Leicester stunned their hosts with Kelechi Iheanacho heading past Emiliano Martinez in the 41st minute and then Tete marking his debut with a goal in first-half stoppage time after Villa carelessly conceded possession.

The second half was sedate by comparison but Villa did think they had levelled through Philippe Coutinho only for his effort to be ruled out for offside.

Leicester wrapped up their first league win since November in the 79th minute when Dennis Praet latched on to a Harvey Barnes through ball.

Victory lifted Leicester to 21 points, three points above the bottom three, while Villa remain in 11th place with 28.

Leicester's run of fun on the road continues then. If they can keep on scoring, they've got nothing to worry about. That's all for now. Goodbye!

Leicester will be delighted with their display here. It's the first time they've won after conceding the opening goal in the Premier League since the end of last season. Rodgers' men rise to 13th and will hope they can kick on now. Villa stay 11th. They faded badly here, but they still look better under Emery.

Leicester finish a fun game at Villa Park with all three points! The Foxes fought back from 1-0 and 2-1 down to take full advantage of Villa's defensive mistakes, grabbing the lead just before half-time through Tete. Villa pushed to equalise in the second half before Praet's late goal finally killed them off.
