European champions Chelsea have proven they have what it takes to dethrone City, however, having done it in last season's Champions League final and will be hoping to add a domestic title to the one won in Porto.

Liverpool were winners back in 2020 ending a 30-year wait for league glory and Jurgen Klopp is sure to have them back challenging again at the sharp end this season too while Manchester United will be looking to be back in the title picture with Cristiano Ronaldo returning to his former club in the summer.

It's not all about the action at the top though with Norwich, Watford and Brentford promoted to the top tier for 2020/21 and hoping to hold their own against the best English football has to offer and avoid the drop.

We will bring you all the action and updates from today's game in the live blog below:

Aston Villa vs Burnley

This pair must now prepare themselves for the final day of the season, when Villa travel to face Manchester City and Burnley host Newcastle United. It'll be a nail-biting one for Burnley especially. That's all for now. Goodbye!

Villa stay 14th in the Premier League table with only a faint chance of a top-half finish. They had 22 shots here, their highest total in a Premier League match this season, but couldn't beat an inspired Pope. Burnley rise to 17th, ahead of Leeds on goal difference. If the point they've just gained is the one that keeps them up, they'll have Pope to thank.

It's honours even between Villa and Burnley at Villa Park, but either side could have won this. Villa will be disappointed not to have taken all three points after coming back from behind. Pope was in great form for Burnley though. The Clarets could have sealed a vital win through Weghorst but for Mings' magnificent block. Lowton's sending off in injury time came too late to change the result.

Villa force one more corner down their right. Burnley manage to see it out. Lennon darts down the wing and is stopped unfairly by Cash. That eats up a few more seconds, and the final whistle eventually blows!

Burnley may be down to 10 men, but they'll be damned if they let the draw slip from here. Cork buys another free-kick from Buendia.

There'll be at least four more minutes of this. Burnley would probably take the point right now if you offered it to them. They could easily be going home with all three but for Mings' brilliant block.
