It was a dramatic season for Chelsea a year ago with Roman Abramovich now replaced by Todd Boehly as owner in west London. He will want an instant return on his hefty investment at Stamford Bridge while Tottenham, back in the Champions League, will want to kick on once more too.
It's not all about the action at the top though with Fulham, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest promoted to the top tier for 2021/22 and hoping to hold their own against the best English football has to offer and avoid the drop.

The striker went to the turf after winning an aerial battle with Gueye and initially attempted to run it off, but he’s since returned to a seated position on the pitch while the medical staff take a look. The striker will want to make it to half-time at least, though he’s also in-line to play for Wales at the upcoming World Cup.

Gray puts a free-kick into the penalty area from a long way out but it’s met by Senesi before Billing puts the finishing touches on the clearance, smashing it out for an Everton throw-in.
