Mark Cavendish found himself the victim in an incident involving a fan on the Stage 11 individual time trial that ended with the Manx Missile covered in urine.
The incident came after Cavendish was involved in a collision with Tom Veelers at the end of Stage 10 that sent the Dutchman crashing to the ground. But today's action is not the only time that an altercation between a sportsman and a fan has taken place...
