One man who knows exactly what Deontay Wilder is all about is Luis Ortiz.

The Cuban boxer suffered the first defeat of his professional career when Wilder knocked him out after 10 rounds back in March.

He believes that unified world champion Anthony Joshua is scared to be at ringside this evening.

“AJ should 1,000 percent be here at ringside,” said Ortiz. “With three of the best heavyweight fighting in the same arena on Saturday night, he should absolutely be there.

“I believe that [Joshua’s] saving face and that he’s scared,” said Ortiz. “I don’t think Joshua wants to [face his critics] and deal with the questions from the public and the media regarding his [legitimacy] as a champion.”

Lennox Lewis on Deontay Wilder's performance vs Luis Ortiz

"He hurt Deontay but wasn't able to take him out. He wasn't in top, top condition. If he was, it could have been a different outcome."

Ortiz was the first man to come close to threatening Wilder's unbeaten record. Will Fury get any closer and potentially go one step better?
