Tyson Fury press conference LIVE: Latest news as Derek Chisora heavyweight title fight confirmed

Fury leaves the stage, walks around to its front, and jokingly confronts Warren and Chisora.

Chisora: “I don’t worry about anyone. I don’t have to worry about anyone.”

Chisora: “He’s shrunk a little bit.

“He’s got a chip on his shoulder, Tyson, about ‘AJ’ – and I don’t understand why.”

Warren: “I believed in [Joshua], and he cost me £10k!”

Fury: “Someone’s getting chinned.”

Fury, who is standing: “I can beat anybody in the world, always have been able to, and always will be able to.

“There’s nobody that can touch me. I’m in a league of my own, I believe.

“[But Chisora] did very well against Usyk [...] I rate Derek Chisora as highly as I rate Usyk, and I will train as hard for Derek as I would for anyone in the world. I’d have to be an idiot not to.’

Fury says this fight will help to boost the UK economy.

Fury: “If he lands a punch on me, a big swing, I’m getting knocked out. If I land a punch on him, a big swing, he’s getting knocked out.”

Fury: “In terms of selling Derek Chisora to the fans: I ain’t gotta sell nothing to nobody. You offer [the fight] to him, boom – he’s sat here. He’s got b***s.”

Fury: “I’d like to say a massive thanks to Frank Warren. He’s a man of his word; he promised me, when I returned from my retirement, that I would fight in December. Big shout-out for that.

“Also, massive respect, because in my bag here I have £10,000 in cash, that Frank has brought for me today, because I bet Frank £10k that Anthony Joshua wouldn’t take the fight.”

Chisora: “I’m excited, I thank Tyson for giving me the opportunity to fight.

“Is there bad blood? Not really, but I wanna take what’s his and make it mine.

“I can’t box him, so I have to go with the mentality of physically taking what’s his and making it mine.

“I have to get in the mindset that there’s gonna be loads of leather chucked, punches chucked – I’m excited about that.”
