From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Odds

Prograis: 8/11

Taylor: 5/4

Draw: 20/1

Prediction

This should be a fascinating battle between two elite fighters, who set up in the southpaw stance. Both have power and the ability to work off the back foot or take the initiative.

This one could go the distance and Taylor may edge it due to the home crowd advantage, his bodywork ought to be key in a razor thin decision.

As both men come out for the sixth, the referee has a word and the pair get on with the job at hand.

Round six: Burns 57-58 Selby

Both men in really close during that round, Burns landed the more telling shots but receives one low and feels it - the referee has to have another word.

Burns comes straight out and lands a bit left hand. Good round for him.

Round seven: Burns 67-67 Selby

Burns lands a cracking left hand to the jaw and Selby looks like a hurt man now. He’s really grown into this fight and is beginning to turn things around after a slow start.

Round eight: Burns 77-77 Selby

A closer round there, Burns again being the aggressor but nothing in that. A 10-10.

Selby also threw one just after the bell, no reaction from Burns.

Round nine: Burns 86-87 Selby

Both men stand and trade in the middle of the ring! Neither bushes or looks too hurt but they will be getting more and more tired. Selby landed the cleaner of the work in the ninth and just edges back in front for me.

Round 10: Burns 96-96 Selby

The volume of punches has decreased quite a lot now, but Burns remains the aggressor and is coming forward at every opportunity.

Both men trade in the middle and it’s another tough one to score. I can see this one headed to a draw.

Round 11: Burns 106-106 Selby

This fight really is all about what you prefer, aggressive inside work or combination punching. I give that one a 10-10, both men landed similar amounts of punches.

Round 12: Burns 116-115 Selby

That’s it! A fight which could have been won by a single round either way, a very even matchup.

I edge it just to Ricky Burns, who was a tiny bit more active in the final round and landing some big blows.

A decent fight.

Scorecards incoming...

It was quite a dirty fight but both men come into the centre of the ring after the final bell and have a little moment together.

Nice to see.
