Mike Tyson throws ferocious punches in open workout for Jake Paul boxing match

Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are just a day away from one of the biggest and most controversial fights in boxing in years, as they prepare to square off on Netflix.

And ahead of their officially-sanctioned, professional bout, the Americans shared a stage at Toyota Music Factory in Dallas on Wednesday (13 November), with Paul making $1m bets and retired boxing champion Tony Bellew crashing proceedings.

Bellew was in the crowd wearing a T-shirt showing the logo of betting site Paddy Power, and he was standing alongside an older man in a boxing robe and gloves. Bellew also had a microphone, with which he spoke over a journalist who was asking a question inside Toyota Music Factory.

Bellew’s words were difficult to hear, but he appeared to call Paul a “clown”, while host Ariel Helwani tried to drown out the 41-year-old, comparing Bellew’s microphone to a “Fisher Price” toy.

Later, Paul lost his cool at the undercard boxers who predicted he will lose to Tyson, making $1m bets with several of them. Next up, tonight, is the weigh-in. Follow all the action below:

Now here come Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, ahead of their rematch tomorrow night.

Taylor won the first fight narrowly in 2022, in the biggest bout in women’s boxing history, retaining the undisputed lightweight belts.

This time, Taylor puts the undisputed *super*-lightweight titles on the line against Serrano, who is the unified featherweight champion.

137.4lb for Serrano. The same for Taylor.

This one should be a corker, like the first edition of this match-up.

Barrios, who fights out of Texas, will be elevated to regular champion when the first bell sounds tomorrow.

Ramos: “Tomorrow night, he’s gonna have to get through me first [before facing the big names he’s been linked to], and it’s gonna be two Mexican warriors fighting for the championship of the world. You can’t miss it.”

Barrios, on the prospect of a fight with Jaron “Boots” Ennis next year: “That’s the plan, to defend, to unify with one of the other current champions.”

166.8lb for Melinda Watpool, who faces Shadasia Green at super-middleweight.

Green also makes weight, then there’s some pushing and shoving during the face-off!

Host Ariel Helwani asks what Watpool thinks about being shoved by Green, and she says: “I think I pushed her first.”

Tony Bellew confirms clash at Paul v Tyson press conference: ‘It’s not talk, it’s a promise’

Tony Bellew crashed the press conference for Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson on Wednesday, holding a “Fisher Price” microphone as he was accompanied by an old man in boxing gloves – before the pair were kicked out.

Britain’s Bellew, a former world champion, was in the crowd wearing a t-shirt showing the logo of a betting site, and he was standing alongside an older man in a boxing robe and gloves. Bellew also had a microphone, with which he spoke over a journalist who was asking a question inside Toyota Music Factory.

And the Liverpudlian confirms an altercation with security on his way out, telling Talk Sport: “They were all big boys. One gave me a little push and I said, ‘just don’t touch me, I’m going to walk quite happily boys, but just don’t put your hands on me.’ He said, ‘Okay’. When we got to the policeman with the gun in his waist, the guy gave me a little shove in the back.
