KSI v Tommy Fury LIVE: Boxing results as Logan Paul v Dillon Danis and main event end with shock results
Follow live updates from the highly-anticipated boxing matches in Manchester
KSI and Tommy Fury squared off in the boxing ring in a poorly executed contest defined by clinching and wild swinging. Fury, so composed in his win over Jake Paul earlier this year, seemed to want to match the unorthodox style of KSI but found himself confused as to how to tackle the fight.
A points deduction in the second round further put Fury on the back foot only for him to find a bit of momentum in the third round. The fight seemed even throughout with KSI’s corner adamant that he was in front on the cards. When the decision was announced in Fury’s favour, KSI was shocked and labelled the decision a ‘robbery; in his post-match interview causing Fury to brand him a ‘bad loser.
Moments before their encounter Logan Paul and Dillon Danis’ co-main event developed into a brawl that forced security to intervene.
Danis, who twice tried to choke out and wrestle Paul to the ground, was issued a disqualification after six rounds in which Paul dominated from start to finish. Months of bad blood between the two men came to a head as Paul remained composed and collected utilising a mix of jabs and heavy hooks to unsettle the former MMA fighter whose main goal was to avoid a knockout.
The scenes at the end of the fight led to Paul branding Danis a ‘coward’ and a joke of a fighter before he left the stage with the British crowd chanting his name.
Fury crowned king but relax: Misfits will not end boxing as we know it
It was gone midnight when Tommy Fury and KSi wrestled their way through six truly ugly rounds to end the night in Manchester on Saturday.
Fury got the nod over KSi, nearly 20,000 traipsed away in the rain and the journey of boxing’s so-called “crossover” fighters continues. The night was a sell-out, the pay-per-view numbers on DAZN will be impressive, but the reality is that the stars of the circuit, which operates under the promotional name of Misfits, are novices. And, they will never get any better.
The men and women under the Misfits canopy might want to fight, but they are so far short of grade that their fights are just boring to watch for traditional boxing fans. They are, mostly, harmless, but the limitations of the men and women involved mean that action happens by mistake and not design. They have the moves, but not the technique; it is style over content. The crowd did actually boo and hiss quite a few times during Saturday’s ten-fight bill when there was no action. Sure, there is a grand pantomime element at play.
Also on Saturday, several fights went on too long and the referees were guilty of putting the health of the boxers at risk. The men behind Misfits, including KSi, must take a long, hard look at the poor and dangerous refereeing. It was a brutal reminder, in the middle of the slapstick, that this unforgiving sport too often ends in death or serious injury.

Poor technique and a lack of boxing’s basics mean KSi and co are nothing but novices
KSI v Tommy Fury LIVE
Fury: “I want to thank my Lord and Saviour. I did it for Manchester, I love you. I couldn’t use my right hand for six weeks in the preparation, I am not an excuse-maker. I fought my heart out in there. I am trying to be the best I can be. He is an awkward man. I am done with all this crossover s***.”
He then also seems to say he isn’t, in fact, done.
KSI: “That is a robbery bro. How many jabs did you land? Look at your face, look at your eyes. I’m the YouTuber, you are the boxer so you have to win? He is the man who is one who is supposed to be the pro boxer. He hit me on the back of the head over and over. It is outrageous. I want to appeal. I need to see it again. I felt like I won that.”

Idris Virgo agrees: “That was robbery.”
KSI said: “I landed the cleaner shots, he couldn’t get any jabs off. I slipped them, I landed overhead. Fury landed 12 punches the whole fight. I threw more shots and I landed more.”

Eubank Jr: “I thought KSI won, he landed more. It happens, you don’t get the decision. It makes you stronger. But everyone sees the fight differently. Some judges look at it as which boxer is moving forward, which is an amateur way of looking at it, but people see things differently. He had a solid game plan and it messed up Fury.”
KSI may have lost to Tommy Fury, but he’s winning where it really matters
Tommy Fury left the ring as the victor, but KSI was the moral winner following their six-round boxing bout at the AO Arena in Manchester on Saturday night.
An evening of entertaining Misfits boxing saw Logan Paul’s co-main event against Dillon Danis descend into a brawl involving security personnel, before reaching its crescendo as KSI (real name Olajide Olatunji) boosted his stock, and that of his company, with an unorthodox yet effective performance against the professional boxer.
From the first-round bell Fury was hurried by KSI’s punching speed and sharp footwork, too often enticed into coming forward aggressively to attack the openings left by the 30-year-old’s low guard. A quick overhead right from KSI clipped Fury on the neck in the first round and he looked shocked having not seen the punch coming.
That was just one of KSI’s impressive moments during the opening rounds, as he utilised a pacey double-jab with a combination of uppercuts and right hooks to build up some early momentum.

Fury defeated KSI via a controversial majority decision after the pair clashed in Manchester
Tommy Fury claims points victory over YouTube star KSI
Tommy Fury once more overcame the challenge of a game YouTube fighter by claiming a majority decision win over KSI in a scrappy cruiserweight headliner at a packed-out AO Arena in Manchester.
Fury has concentrated on lucrative crossover contests in recent months, seeing off Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia in February and now dispatching British foe KSI to extend his record to 10-0 as a professional.
With brother Tyson, the WBC heavyweight champion, at ringside, Fury landed several eye-catching blows but the bout underlined the relative novice status of both combatants with multiple clinches.

Logan Paul beats Dillon Danis by disqualification after fight ends in ugly brawl
Logan Paul beat Dillon Danis in their highly anticipated grudge match in Manchester on Saturday night as the fight ended with an ugly brawl in the ring.
Danis was disqualified over his behaviour in the final round of this six-round boxing bout, which saw the American mixed martial artist put his opponent in a headlock and then swing for a security guard who entered the ring.
He had put on an extremely defensive performance up to that point, landing only nine punches through the first five rounds, before the fight descended into chaos. First Danis attempting a rugby tackle around the waist which Paul resisted, before the wild scenes at the finish.

KSI labels that result as a ‘robbery’ and asks Fury how many jabs and shots did he land. Fury responds by calling KSI a ‘bad loser and a bum’.
Things are heated between these two once again, with KSI saying he’s up for a rematch as he thinks he was tonight’s real winner.
