A decision to host a press conference in the UK was made after high demand from fans, with the initial decision to not host one overturned.
The first, in Los Angeles, California, was bizarre. Insults were traded as promoter and head of Matchroom Boxing USA Eddie Hearn admitted it was a ‘circus’ he ‘needed to stop from becoming a complete circus’ – good luck with that, Eddie.
While it’s expected that the fight will be the most watched and subscribed to in DAZN’s history, it has drawn controversy for staging two fighters who have never had a professional fight in their lives as the main event.
Here’s what you need to know about the upcoming press conference.
What day is it?
It’s on Monday, 7th October. Not long at all then!
What time is it?
It will be at 6pm UK time, so those who have work or school will have plenty of time to get there! If you’re in US, it’s 1pm ET and 10am if you’re in the west coast.
Where is it?
It’s at the infamous music venue Troxy, 490 Commercial Road, Limehouse, London.
How do I watch online?
It will be streamed in the same way as before, on both fighters’ YouTube channels. All for free.
