Anthony Joshua tonight takes on Andy Ruiz Jr desperate to win back his world heavyweight titles after his shock first professional defeat earlier this year.

The Briton was stunned in June by Ruiz, an 11-1 underdog who achieved one of the biggest upsets in boxing history by dropping Joshua for a fourth and final time in the seventh round.

They fight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this evening on a fight card that also features the likes of heavyweight rivals Dillian Whyte, Alexander Povetkin and Filip Hrgovic. Follow all of the latest coverage below:

Up next... Filip Hrgovic vs Eric Molina

Things looking slightly more optimistic in Saudi Arabia, but the weather remains a concern.

Jack de Menezes has the latest.

And here's an action shot of Tom Little from Declan Taylor in Diriyah. Showers won't be a concern on their own, really, but one lightning strike and the organisers are prepared to cancel the evening's festivities.

Out to the ring come our next two fighters, Filip Hrgovic and Eric Molina. Hrgovic is a rising star with the potential to really make waves in the next couple of years. The Olympic bronze medallist is unbeaten in nine previous fights, including seven knockouts.

Ooh! A big blow from Hrgovic towards the end of the round, perhaps catching his opponent on the back of the head, and Molina goes down! No count from the referee...

Ding, ding, that'll be that for the first round. Molina looked a little shaken up there.

Harry Latham-Coyle7 December 2019 17:43

Down again! Hrgovic in imposing form early on. Molina very much on the back foot, but back on his feet.

Hrgovic finds another meaty connection...

Harry Latham-Coyle7 December 2019 17:44

Hefty heaves at the Croatian from Molina, and a couple find their mark. Hrgovic briefly knocked off-kilter, and he takes a moment to compose himself, opening up the opportunity for another big right. Nothing particularly beautiful in Molina's structuring, but a decent fight back.

Hrgovic soon back on top, Molina ducking, and another big punch finds flesh. Molina down, seven, EIGHT...

Back up, but this one might not be far away from a conclusion.

Harry Latham-Coyle7 December 2019 17:46

Ding Ding! Round Two closes with Molina again on shaky legs and mere moments from defeat, seemingly, but he's coming back for more in Round Three.
