Anthony Joshua vs Usyk LIVE: Fight result, reaction and boxing highlights

West Ham midfielder Declan Rice was the first to be questioned on how he thinks the fight will go. Rather predictably, he said Joshua within six rounds.

Then we heard from Vitali Klitschko, a former Ukrainian heavyweight champion of the world. He rather surprisingly also admitted that it is a ‘very difficult’ fight for Usyk. Still, he didn’t go so far as to rule out his compatriot for the victory.

The tale of the tape ahead of tonight’s huge, massive, seismic heavyweight dust-up at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

One thing that cannot be summed up with numbers - skill.

Joshua came through the same boxing gym as Chisora - Finchley ABC. And Usyk fought Chisora last year, winning by unanimous decision.

Tough to say, David. If he is blasted out of there in one or two rounds then he may well feel it’s time to pack it in. Let’s not forget, he had an amateur career that lasted longer than a decade. He has been getting punched for a long, long time.

That being said, if it’s a close decision or at the very least a competitive fight then he may look to stick around for one or two more. His profile has been raised simply by fighting Joshua.

I’m getting rid of ‘plus undercard’ in the title of these posts now. The undercard it’s done, it’s history. It wasn’t the greatest undercard of all time, but no-one will remember that in ten years time.

It’s all about Joshua and Usyk. This is about AJ returning to a stadium full of British fight fans and delivering what they are all wishing for.

Don’t get this mistake, this is HUGE.

The crowd is ready. The famous faces are ready. The fighters are almost ready. In around one hour’s time we will hopefully be in the midst of a heavyweight classic.

The atmosphere in the stadium now is absolutely through the roof.

There is very little to split between Joshua and Usyk. Don’t think you could even fit a tiny little Mo Farah in between them.
