Anthony Joshua and Jarrell Miller ramp up war of words in second fight press conference
The two went face to face again in another feisty press conference
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. An angry Anthony Joshua responded to Jarrell Miller's claims he is fighting him on behalf of the "underdog" by reminding him he was a "streetfighter" before he was groomed for greatness.
The IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight champion usually cuts a composed figure amid goading from his opponents but Miller angered him when they met in New York last week and he is yet to rediscover his normal persona. They again met in London on Monday afternoon, and Brooklyn's Miller said: "I've been hearing AJ's too posh, his nose is up here sometimes. For all the underdogs out there who are told they're not good enough; I'm proof that with one or two cheeseburgers and hard work and dedication you can go far."
Here's how the press conference played out:

Winning the title means a whole lot, we know we're going to win the title.
To change lives, change countries, do positive things in the communities around the world and be a positive role model.
The title is one thing, be an ambassador to the human race too.
Anthony Joshua responds:
New York was 10/10, but nothing like being on home soil.
I can focus on what's ahead of me.
I'm not fighting none of his team members, it's just him.
There won't be many words in that real, just punches.
That's what I live for, just another opponent.
You need a good dancing partner. Jarrell is that.
June 2 Jarrell will be irrelevant.
Danny Jacobs showed me love, looked after me.
We had a real good time.
I come from a great family, my mother and father raised me well.
We all looked after each other. I got banned from the area I grew up in.
I'd take my cousin to boxing and I thought that looks easy.
I beat a few people up. From that point, do I want to smoke, face jail? When you look at my hands, it's not from boxing, it's from street fighting.
Do I want to get in trouble for fighting on the streets? Boxing is not about Miller, or Tyson Fury, it's about me. Take some positivity to the community.
When I turned pro, Me and Rob would train in the garden, in the heat, just grind it out.
It looks easy, but that's what the people who are great do, make tough tasks look easy.
I'm in no different business to anybody else, we calculate each step, never complain, never cry.
When I'd only been boxing a year, I had to swim deep.
I went straight to boxing and took over boxing.
I've still got 10 years left. This is all I know. I don't know football, rugby, NFL, all I know is this. Knocking people out. I'm going to strip his soul in the ring. If he's still in there, look at his face, I'm going to reconstruct his face.
I'm a heavy-handed puncher. I'm going to reconstruct his face, landlord in the States, surgeon in the UK.
100 per cent (I need to knock him out), knock him clean out.
People doubted why we took this fight. Discrediting Miller, we'll struggle to do numbers at MSG, we've flipped that upside down.
He does all the talking, I'll do the physical stuff in there. I'm a force to be reckoned with.
Miller responds, whilst snoring.
I'm ready for anything. The odds have always been against me.
All that nervousness can't fight for him. This is what I've been doing.
He's not the popular one anymore, I come here, all I hear is 'Tyson Fury.'
Joshua wants a rap battle:
I beat you in every department.
Bars baby. Let's go.
There's not much I can do to that face.
