Trump says there is ‘something wrong’ with Harris as he rallies in Michigan a day after Joe Rogan talk: Live

Trump attempted to appeal to Muslim voters in Michigan on Saturday by bashing Former Republican Rep Liz Cheney, who has endorsed and campaigned with Vice President Kamala Harris.

“Kamala is campaigning with Muslim hating warmonger Liz Cheney wants to invade practically every Muslim country on the planet. And let me tell you the Muslims of our country, they see it and they know it,” Trump said. “Her father was responsible for invading the Middle East, killing millions of Arabs, millions and this is the one that Kamala is campaigning with. And I know Cheney very well. She lost by the biggest margin in the history of the United States Congress ... by almost 40 points.”

Trump said on Saturday that under a second Trump administration, jobs would be leaving Mexico and China and returning to Michigan.

“We'll bring back the auto industry greater than it has ever been. I'm not saying a little bit we're going to bring them back,” Trump said. “And if they don't want to build their plant here, you know what they're going to do. They're not going to sell cars here.”

He added: “China will not be building those massive plants in Mexico. Vote Trump and you will see a mass exodus of manufacturing jobs from Mexico to Michigan, from Shanghai to Sterling Heights, and from Beijing to Detroit.”

Trump doubled down on his criticism of Detroit, saying that the Michigan city makes the US look like a “developing nation.”

“Globalist politicians like Kamala Harris sold you out and let other countries loot and pillage and plunder your wealth and our jobs and our American dreams, 40 percent of Michigan auto jobs were annihilated after NAFTA, the worst trade deal ever made. And I ended it. I ended it with the USMCA,” Trump said.

“That's Mexico and Canada ... And then they allowed China, in one of their brilliant moves, to enter as a growing developing nation ... Well, I think Detroit and some of our areas make us a developing nation,” he added. “China doesn't have any place like that, but they allowed them into the World Trade Organization – that did not work out too well for us.”

Trump appeared to want to move to only Election Day voting while speaking in Novi, Michigan.

The Republicans have encouraged their base to vote early despite Trump’s criticisms.

“You know what the ridiculous system is. You have the rest of your life to vote, anytime you want,” Trump said. “Come on. No, we used to have one-day voting. Voter ID, paper ballots. Prove that you're a citizen of the United States, please. And you know what? You had no problems.”

Trump lambasted Harris for changing some of her policies, with the former president claiming she has done so to get elected.

“She's changed 15 policies in order to be able to run like no transgender operations for people in detention ... paid for by the Government, she changed like men and women’s sport,” Trump said.

“She wants men to be able to participate in women’s [sport]. Now she probably got rid of that like no fracking. There will be no for her whole life. She's no fracking, no oil and gas,” he added.

Harris has said that she won’t ban fracking and helped pass the Inflation Reduction Act, which increased leases for fracking.

Donald Trump took the stage in Novi, Michigan on Saturday, claiming that Harris supporters “booed the hell out of everybody” after Beyonce appeared at a Harris rally on Friday night in Houston, Texas.

“They thought she was going to perform. Now, I would have no interest in that, but they said, and what happened is, my opponent got up and started speaking. They booed the hell out of [her],” Trump said.

“So they have to use people to get people to come, and then they send busses. We don't send busses. Everybody comes,” Trump claimed.

One of Donald Trump’s close advisers revealed that Barron Trump is the architect of his dad’s podcast strategy ahead of Election Day.

Jason Miller, senior adviser to Trump, told Politico’s Playbook Deep Dive podcast that Barron’s recommendations have been “absolutely ratings gold.” Barron, 18, is the former president’s youngest son and a first-year student at New York University’s Stern School of Business.

“Barron has been very involved in selecting or recommending, I should say, a number of the podcasts that we should do,” Miller said. “I got to tell you, hats off to the young man. Every single recommendation he’s had has turned out to be absolute ratings gold that’s broken the internet. He’s done a great job.”
