The second policemen injured on the Champs-Elysees has died of his injuries, according to Reuters.
Searches are reportedly taking place in eastern Paris at the home of the attacker who was shot dead on the Champs-Elysees.
"Tribute to the police officer killed on the Champs-Elysees tonight, thoughts with his family. Solidarity to his wounded colleagues and their loved ones."
Previous reports by a police union that two police officers had been killed were incorrect, according to the interior minister who confirmed one officer had been killed and two others gravely injured.

French presidential frontrunner Emmanuel Macron wrote: "I attest my full solidarity to police forces. I am thinking of the victim's family."
French President Francois Hollande has said he is "convinced" the attack was terror-related and will hold security a cabinet meeting tomorrow morning. Two candidates in the presidential elections, Francois Fillon and Marine Le Pen, have cancelled campaign events due to take place tomorrow.
