From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Keeping it in the family, Kendall and Kylie Jenner follow in the footsteps of older sister Kim Kardashian by starring in the autumn/winter campaign for Balmain.

The French label that last season cast Kimye in its spring/summer advertising campaign is for autumn/winter featuring siblings.

Kendall and Kylie were unveiled in the new campaign shot by Mario Sorrenti.

Kendall is no stranger to ad campaigns, just this week it was also revealed that she is new face of Fendi, but Kylie is relatively new to the world of high fashion.

Alongside the Jenner sisters Joan Smalls also appears with sister Erika Smalls. Gigi and Bella Hadid also land a spot as do Armando and Fernando Cabral.

"This season's Balmain campaign was inspired by a brief, key moment that happened while we were shooting our last campaign." Commented Olivier Rousteing, creative director of the brand.

"While I watched Mario capture a kiss last fall, I was struck by the love and emotion that I was witnessing in front of me. Starting with a determination to once again focus on the beauty of an intimate connection, my team and I quickly concluded that a celebration of the unique unconditional love of sibling is a natural progression from the spirit of last season."

This is unlikely to be Kendall's last Balmain campaign of the season as she was chosen as one of the models for the red carpet debut of the Balmain x H&M collaboration slated for release this November, meaning she is a good bet for the main campaign.
