Good morning and welcome to our live coverage of the Singapore Grand Prix.
Charles Leclerc has secured pole in each of his last three qualifying performances, including for the Singapore GP today.
He's gone on to win in the last two. Can he complete the hat-trick?
Leclerc came out on top in a thriller in Monza a week ago.
The current champion Lewis Hamilton was forced off the track, exhausted his tyres and locked up all in pursuit of the Monacan youngster, but it was in vain as the Brit eventually finished in third.
This didn't dent Mercedes' vice-like grip on the Drivers' Championship table though. Hamilton and teammate Valtteri Bottas are still setting the standard:
1. Hamilton- 284 pts
2. Bottas- 221 pts
3. Verstappen- 185 pts
4. Leclerc- 182 pts
5. Vettel- 169 pts
It wasn't such a good week for Red Bull last time round.
Max Verstappen got caught up in the congestion at the start of the race and only managed to recover an eight place finish, with teammate Alexander Albon placing sixth after flirting with the gravel on lap three.
Renault, on the other hand, would have left Monza feeling rather chuffed with themselves.
Daniel Ricciardo and Nico Hulkenberg took fourth and fifth place to secure 22 points for Renault in the Constructors' Championships, leaving them in fifth overall.
On to today. Here's how the grid looks going into the race at the Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore:
1. Charles Leclerc
2. Lewis Hamilton
3. Sebastian Vettel
4. Max Verstappen
5. Valtterri Bottas
6. Alexander Albon
7. Carlos Sainz Jnr
8. Nico Hulkenberg
9. Lando Norris
10. Antonio Giovinazzi
11. Pierre Gasly
12. Kimi Raikkonnen
13. Kevin Magnussen
14. Daniil Kvyat
15. Sergio Perez
16. Lance Stroll
17. Romain Grosjean
18. George Russell
19. Robert Kubica
20. Daniel Ricciardo
Singapore is a tough race. Heat, humidity and a bumpy track make this track a mental and physical onslaught.
Ferrari were expected struggle on this circuit before the weekend. It now looks as though they will be the threat to Mercedes.
That's as long as Vettel can impress. His error heavy last couple of seasons have earned him plenty of points on his super licence, the required certification to drive in F1
He has nine points on his licence. Three more and he faces a one race ban.
