Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas finished a lengthy 18 second behind the championship leader, and the Finn nearly lost second place as Ferrari's Charles Leclerc had a run at him into the final corner as he struggled to reheat his tyres following a late virtual safety car, though the chequered flag came one lap too soon for the Monogasque.
Max Verstappen kept Sebastian Vettel at bay to take fourth, with Carlos Sainz impressing for McLaren in sixth. However, a hydraulic problem saw Lando Norris lose seventh on the final lap as Daniel Ricciardo, Kimi Raikkonen and Nico Hulkenberg flashed past to relegate him to 10th. Re-live the action below.

Lap 43: Norris has another worrying problem as he reports "really aggressive upshifts", which is part of the initial problem that would leave DRS open. He's told there's nothing they can do and to manage it to the best of his ability.
Lap 46: Kvyat and Albon are battling away for 14th place in an intra-Toro Rosso battle, and for now it's Albon who remains ahead as he fends off his teammate into Signes.
Lap 47: Norris is warned about what is coming as the hydraulic problem gets worse, as first the car will become unstable and then the steering will get heavier. The issue is that Norris replies the steering has already gotten heavy, and with Ricciardo just 2.2s behind, that seventh-place finish looks in great danger.
Lap 47: Grosjean is told to bring his Haas into the pits to retire the car, which he duly does at the end of the lap.
Lap 50: Drama! Finally...a bollard has been dislodged and is on the track, and the virtual safety car has been deployed!
Lap 50: It was Albon who dislodged the bollard at Turn One, but as quickly as the VSC came out it ended as the obstruction was quickly removed.
Lap 51: Vettel gets told he's on 'Plan F', which means making a free pit stop for fresh tyres to go for the fastest lap and extra point.
Lap 52: Ricciardo has caught Norris and the battle is on for seventh place with two laps left.
Lap 53: Vettel pits for new tyres as Hamilton starts the final lap.
