Withjust over a week to go until Black Friday officially begins, we’re seeing hundreds of early deals dropping across major brands and retailers, including Currys, Argos, Debenhams, Boots and Shark, so you can start your shopping right away.

Whether you’re looking to stock up on beauty essentials, replace your old laptop, or invest in a new mattress, the IndyBest team has been compiling hundreds of impressive deals in our Black Friday shopping guides. But for real-time updates on discounts and news as it drops, our liveblog has you covered.

The Black Friday sales could save you cash on a TV, toys, jewellery and furniture, but the steepest discounts aren’t necessarily the best deals. The most impressive discounts are those on products that are actually worth your money, so we’ll make sure to bring you offers on items we’ve tested ourselves.

So far, Samsung has started its sale, ghd is offering up to 25 per cent off everything, Oodie has 50 per cent off blanket hoodies and Dyson is offering hundreds of pounds off its products. Elsewhere, you can find bargains at Boots, Currys, Argos, Lookfantastic and more. It’s shaping up to be one of the biggest Black Friday sales ever.

Get the iPhone 16 Pro with 500GB of data for £39.99pm

Here’s a great deal on the iPhone 16 Pro at iD Mobile. That up front fee might look steeper than alternative contracts, but the saving over the course of the term leaves you significantly better off in the long run.

Look, I’ve done the maths!

iPhone 16 Pro with 500GB: £39.99 per month, £149 up front, Carphonewarehouse.com

(Apple/The Independent)

The 500GB plan (upgraded from 100GB for Black Friday) has you paying £39.99 per month after the up front fee. That’s a total of £1,108 over the course of the 24 month plan (mid-contract price bumps not included). Considering the phone costs £999 by itself, this means you’re paying a mere £4.57 per month for a 500GB plan.

Our tester called the latest iPhone “evolutionary not revolutionary” in their iPhone 16 Pro review, thanks in part to the delayed rollout of Apple Intelligence features.

Here’s a £30 saving on the AirPods Max

The AirPods Max can be expensive, especially compared to rivals Sony and Bose, but this rare £30 discount in Currys’ Black Friday sale brings Apple’s official headphones down to a more palatable price.

Apple AirPods Max: Was £459, now £429, Currys.co.uk

(Amazon)

In their review of the AirPods Max, our tech writer said “these headphones are premium, but they sound premium, too. If you are even slightly tempted you will find [they] could change how you listen to music.”

Save 15 per cent on the Neom reed diffuser

My flat is so crammed full of reed diffusers, it smells like an Aesop truck tipped over on the M5. One of my favourites is the Neom wellbeing pod, which is reduced by 15 per cent in the Boot Black Friday sale.

My colleague Lucy spotted this deal, adding that “while 15 per cent might not sound too enticing, you’ll be pleased to discover that a £45 spend on Neom via Boots gets you a free travel candle”.

Lucy then informed me that a travel candle is simply a small candle, not one you walk around with at night like Ebenezer Scrooge.

Neom wellbeing pod electric diffuser: Was £95, now £80.75 (+ £20 free gift), Boots.com

(Neom/The Independent)

The candle alone is worth £20, which means almost £35 in savings. When reviewing the wellbeing pod’s larger ‘luxe’ sibling in our’ review of the best oil diffusers, our tester praised its "unique design that fits in seamlessly with loads of interior styles."
