But, if you’re wondering what sort of deals we can expect when it does eventually roll around, last year, we were treated to 30 per cent off everything – could it be a similar story this year? We hope so. If it’s time to invest in a new telly, Black Friday is the perfect opportunity to save on top 4K and OLED sets. We’re already seeing eye-popping offers on TVs from Amazon, LG, and Samsung, ahead of the main event. Case in point, here’s a £300 saving on one from LG.

While Pandora hasn’t actually confirmed when it will hold its Black Friday sale, we can certainly hazard a guess. Its sale typically begins on the Thursday before the official event. But, Pandora members could get a head start – in 2023, subscribers had access to Pandora’s Black Friday deals from Monday 20 November.

While the Dyson airwrap has long been on my wish list, I’m leaning towards Shark’s flexstyle instead. It’s hundreds of pounds cheaper, and, beauty writer Maisie Bovington thinks it’s the best alternative. Even better, Shark’s early Black Friday offers mean it’s on sale now.

Shark’s FlexStyle received top marks in our review. “Similar to the Dyson airwrap, this Shark tool uses Coanda technology, which is when the powerful airflow collects and wraps the hair around the barrel, to create a neat curl.” Maisie explained. “The lightweight, versatile and multifunctional tool made drying and styling a breeze – so much so, we think it is on par with the airwrap, even though it’s £200 cheaper”, she praised.

Deals on Apple’s products are few and far between – that is, until Black Friday. Alex Lee, one of The Independent’s tech writers, has covered the sale for eight years now, so he really knows his stuff. Our reviewer can confirm that the Oodie actually does live up to the hype (and I agree). They dubbed it a “cost-effective way to stay warm this winter without causing your household energy bills to soar”, and praised its “non-restricting design”. It’s supremely cosy, and also comes in ample colourways, including the new all black collection.

Turning our attention to home appliances now, and dehumidifiers can defend against damp, and help to keep mould at bay. We’re expecting more deals as the month goes on, but here’s a £50 saving on our Indybest top pick that you can shop right now.

The best on test, our reviewer found this model was ideal for “homes with severe humidity issues”, while the “generous 4l tank means less frequent emptying”. The odour reducing carbon fibre filter “proved especially useful when testing in the kitchen after cooking and in the bedroom, leaving the air noticeably fresher”, they said.

Not for a little while yet. It technically lands on Friday 29 November, and lasts for four full days, before morphing into the Cyber Monday sales on Monday 2 December. That said, numerous big hitters (see Dyson, Shark and Argos) don’t wait until then.
