Yes, we know that most people use Amazon Prime Day as a way to bag a bargain on higher-ticketed items they might usually not commit to buying. However, it is also an excellent time to stock up on some of the less glamorous items but ones that every household needs.

We told you that there were still some stellar savings post-Prime Day and this twin set of Oral-B Pro 3 electric toothbrushes is proof of just that. Not only is this an excellent deal, with 56 per cent off the set, leading to it being reduced to half the original price, but we actually named this very electric toothbrush as the best buy in our round up.
Our tester reviewed a fair few models but ultimately found that while the Oral-B Pro 3 electric toothbrush “is noticeably less powerful than the iO range”, it “will essentially clean your teeth just as competently as the more expensive brushes, with all their techy bells and whistles.”

When it comes to supercharging laundry drying times, this is a must-have. Not only is it reduced by £50, but it also landed a spot in our review of the best heated clothes airers. Owing to its capacious size, it can “handle a full washing machine load of clothes and more”. “The rails are spaced out more than on other rail-based airer models, which makes arranging clothes fast and simple,” praised our writer.
