The actor resumed the role on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, seven months after announcing his presidential candidacy.
“Dr Evil, is that you?” Fallon asked, to which he replied: “No, it’s white Cory Booker,“ referencing the United States Senator.
“It’s 2018, evil’s in right now. It’s hip. It’s like playing Fortnite while slamming a Tide pod and doing the Shiggy challenge,“ Myers quipped when asked why he’s running for public office, referencing the viral dance sensation.
He added: ”Originally, I was hoping for Brett Kavanaugh’s job but Trump said I was too even-tempered for that.”
Dr Evil revealed he is neither a Democrat or Republican, stating he’s running as “an Evilitarian” whose “ultimate goal is to make America evil again.” Naturally, Myers had a red cap with the slogan etched onto it.
Myers previously appeared on Fallon’s show back in April. The actor can currently be seen in Queen film Bohemian Rhapsody which has become one of the most successful music biopics of all time. He plays EMI Executive Ray Foster.
Myers, addressing whether he’d make a return in a brand new Austin Powers film, recently revealed a fourth instalment was “looking good”.
