Marvel Studios has released a new trailer for its forthcoming Disney Plus original series Loki.

The show will focus on Tom Hiddleston’s impish villain from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as he travels across different timelines.

Most of Loki’s plot details have been kept tightly under wraps by Marvel, but the new trailer gives fans a bit more of an idea what to expect.

Owen Wilson’s character, Mobius M Mobius, features heavily alongside Loki in the footage.

Mobius is a member of the Time Variance Authority (TVA), an organisation that polices timeline disruption and the multiverse.

Loki was killed off during the events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), but a version of him in an alternate timeline was able to escape using a tesseract in Avengers: Endgame (2019). It is this version of the character which Loki follows.

Fans were enthusiastic about the new trailer, with one person writing: “I am SPEECHLESS. This is going to be beyond epic.”

“With how weird this is getting, I’m picking up some Legion vibes,” wrote another. “I love that the MCU is getting more experimental.”

“Loki’s facial expressions crack me up everytime,” wrote someone else.

Loki premieres on Disney Plus on 11 June.
