Your support helps us to tell the story

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.

At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is in full swing as tensions start to boil over at camp.

Wednesday’s episode (27 November) saw Dean McCullough in hot water with his bunkmates after the radio presenter continuted to skip his chores. Luckily, McFly’s Danny Jones had the perfect blunt response.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly similarily haven’t held back when poking fun – and even growing frustrated – at the castmates, with McCullough also falling victim to the presenting duo’s many jokes.

Reverend Richard Coles and GK Barry continued to develop their new friendship, while Coleen Rooney opened up about Wayne’s career at Plymouth Argyle amid calls from the club’s fans for a new manager.

Viewers at home, however, were largely distracted by the somewhat cheekily named “Rank Bank” challenge that Jones, McCullough, and Alan Halsall will be partaking in on Thursday (28 November) – not to mention Reverend Richard Coles’ startling nipple confession to GK Barry.

Catch up with all the highlights from tonight’s episode below

Tomorrow’s trial will be called Shock Around the Clock. You can vote for which star you want to take part for the next 25 minutes.

But now it’s time for today’s Bushtucker Trial!

It’s the turn of Maura and Jane. Huge cheers for Dean getting a day off (from us all).

Jacob Stolworthy26 November 2024 21:30

Ant just made a bold claim about this year’s contestants. “You’re the screamiest bucnh of celebrities we’ve ever had on this show,” he says.

Jacob Stolworthy26 November 2024 21:33

Anyway, this Trial is called “Fright At The End of The Tunnel”. There are two tunnels: one above ground, and one below ground. The celebrity above ground needs to find the secret code words hidden in their tunnel, reading them out to the celebrity below ground who will be underwater and will need to use the code words to unlock the stars.

Maura’s going above, and Jane is going below.

Jacob Stolworthy26 November 2024 21:35

Eeeeek, Maura is joined in the tunnels by toads, lizards and spiders – the birthday treats continue! And poor Jane – she can’t see anything because her goggles keep steaming up!

Jacob Stolworthy26 November 2024 21:42

Maura is properly facing her fears, fair play to her. She seems genuinely terrified of these spiders!

Jacob Stolworthy26 November 2024 21:44

Six stars!

They won six out of 12 stars, which sounds bad but, I gotta say, that was a good attempt. Ant and Dec agree, telling them: “That was a very, very tough Trial, so I think you did remarkably, the pair of you. You should both be very proud.”
