Before this week’s episode of HBO’s show aired, there was a lot of debate over whether Lady Stoneheart would appear on the show or not.
Jóhannes Haukur, who plays the character Lemoncloak in the show, did little to subdue these rumours, posting an article by The Independent discussing her return on his Twitter.
Despite Catelyn Stark’s name being mentioned on three separate occasions in the episode ‘No One’, she didn’t appear as the head of the Brotherhood Without Banners.
Luckily, Lemoncloak’s famous lines from the book, in which he talks about the slit throat of Stoneheart, was still delivered by Haukur, just via Twitter instead.
The original passage from the books: ‘She don’t speak,” said the big man in the yellow cloak. “You bloody bastards cut her throat too deep for that. But she remembers.” He turned to the dead woman and said, “What do you say, m’lady? Was he part of it?” Lady Catelyn’s eyes never left him. She nodded.’
Meanwhile, the plot synopses for episodes nine and ten have been released, teasing the winner of “BastardBowl”.
